Since working at SportEAR, I have had the awesome opportunity to help develop and test out some of our hearing protection and enhancement devices. I came to work with SportEAR due to their industry leading reputation and technology. My favorite opportunity- by far- has been using our Custom Molded series. In this blog, I will share; the process I went through to select the right product for me, how I was fit for my custom units, my learning how the units functioned and finally putting them into action on the range. Basically, I want to shed some light for all of you as to the overall process for getting these awesome little devices and what using them looks like in real life.
Talking with customers around the world, I often get asked what the NRR or level of hearing protection in our product line is. What is NRR and at what level of dB do the devices actually shut off and there is always confusion between those two things and how it all works. They are actually very valuable to understand for you get the best protection you can for your hearing.
Hear & Protect At The Same Time™
The number one concept we still get asked about and explain more than any other over the years is the core concept our entire product offering is built around. How is it possible to enhance one’s hearing and protect their hearing at the same time and why does it matter?
